Arkana Windshield Washer Heater Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Renault Arkana owner is experiencing a failure with the windshield washer heater, leading to frozen spray nozzles in cold weather. Despite checking the washer motor and fuse box, the issue persists, and an error is stored in the vehicle's memory. A similar case suggests the problem may be due to a faulty or corroded cable connection to the heater element, which may require professional repair.

Thanks for the reply! Where exactly did you find the cable connection? Was it easy to get to, or did you have to take half the car apart?

Unfortunately, I couldn't locate the connection myself, and in the end, I had to bite the bullet and take it to the workshop. The diagnostic fault codes confirmed a heater malfunction. Turns out it was a corroded connection. They want 95€ for cable and plug replacement.

Thanks a lot for the info. Looks like I'll be heading to the workshop as well. At least now I have an idea of what to expect!

I had nearly the same issue with my Arkana, sounds like a dodgy cable or plug connection to the heater element. It is annoying when you think you've got a top end car with all the bells and whistles and then something like this happens.
