Arkana Wiper Failure

Has anyone else had wiper issues with their 2022 Renault Arkana hybrid? My wipers just stopped working. No response at all. The error memory shows a fault, which points towards a defective cable or plug connection. I've checked the fuses; all good. Before I start tearing apart the dashboard, has anyone encountered anything similar?

Sounds familiar. I've got an Arkana too, though I can't recall the exact year at the moment. Had a similar wiper malfunction a while back. Did you check the wiring harness where it passes through the firewall? That's where my problem was hiding. Rain sensor was going crazy too, was that the case for you?

Good point. I haven't checked the firewall yet. Was it visibly damaged, or did you have to test the continuity? Did your cruise control fail by any chance?

I had to test the continuity, multi-meter is your friend in that case. Couldn't see anything obvious at first glance. And yes, the cruise control was acting up too. It all went back to normal after the repair in the workshop. Honestly, save yourself the headache and just take it in. I know it's annoying, but these modern cars can be a pain to diagnose without the proper tools.

Thanks for the advice. I was hoping to avoid the workshop, but it sounds like that's the best course of action. They quoted me around 95€ for the cable repair, so not too bad. Appreciate the help!
