Armada Damping Adjustment Fault

Alright, Nissan Armada experts, lend me your ears. My 2012 Armada, gasoline engine, is throwing a fit at 128000 km. I'm getting a damping adjustment fault – error code stored, speedo's yelling with a warning light, and the ride feels like a washing machine on spin cycle. Any bright ideas before I start tearing things apart? Could it really just be a dodgy connection?

I have the same car, and yes, I did experience something similar. Did you carefully inspect all the wiring harnesses related to the suspension components, including the connectors and the wiring itself? Perhaps a detailed examination of the relevant electrical schematics would offer further enlightenment regarding potential faults within the system.

Electrical schematics, huh? Now we're talking! You wouldn't happen to remember which connector gave you grief, would you? Or was it more of a general 'poke at everything' situation?

In my case, the actual problem was not self-evident, therefore I would strongly recommend visiting a qualified repair shop. According to the error log of my car, the problem definitely originated from a defective cable or plug connection on the component side. Subsequently, an automotive technician was required to rectify the identified anomaly.

Thanks for the nudge – sounds like I need to bite the bullet and get it scanned properly. Looks like a loose wire. €95, a new plug, and the beast is purring again. Much appreciated!
