Armada Oxygen Sensor Issue

I have a Nissan Armada as well. I had a similar issue with the check engine light and increased fuel consumption some time ago. In my case, the O2 sensor was faulty. By the way, the O2 sensor, or oxygen sensor, measures the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gases to ensure that the engine is burning the right mixture of air and fuel. Is the error message you are receiving an intermittent or a constant one?

Yes, replacing the sensor fixed the problem. I would suggest checking the cable or plug connections first, as you suggested in your initial post. However, if the error is permanent, and the sensor is aged, it is likely defective. At this point, I would suggest that you visit a workshop to check out the sensor. I paid around 95€ for the repair including the defective O2 sensor.
