Armada rain light sensor issue

Yeah, pretty much always dark. I did give the windshield a quick clean around the sensor, but nothing changed. What exactly was the problem with yours? Was it the sensor itself?

Confirmed, mine was acting precisely the same way. From what I understand after going to the workshop, bubbles can form under that gel pad on the windshield, which messes with the sensor. They replaced that gel pad, and that solved the problem. So, unfortunately, I think you need a new sensor or at least a gel pad replacement. I recommend going to a workshop.

Thanks a bunch for the info! Took it to the shop, and you nailed it – bubbles under the gel pad. Replaced it for 62€, and everything's working perfectly again. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Armada! Does it seem like the lights think it is always dark? It sounds like there is something blocking the auto sensor, or the sensor is simply faulty. Have you checked the sensor on the windshield to see if it is obstructed?
