Summary of the thread
A 2017 Hyundai Aslan owner is experiencing engine misfires, rough idling, stalling, and a check engine light, suspecting a faulty ignition coil or loose connection. Good question. I don't have a sophisticated OBD reader, so I can't pinpoint the exact cylinder just yet. But it feels like it's coming from the front bank. Was it difficult to diagnose in your case? I'm trying to avoid unnecessary workshop visits.

Yeah, sounds very similar. Turned out to be a faulty ignition coil pack on mine. The diagnostic at the workshop was pretty quick once they hooked it up to their gear. They saw the misfire code immediately and could isolate the cylinder. In your case, it would be best to visit a workshop.

Appreciate the insight! Dropped it off at the workshop this morning. As suspected, it was indeed the ignition coil – cable was loose. 95€ and she's running smooth again. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

I had a similar experience with my Aslan (don't remember the exact year). Rough idle and the check engine light were the first signs. Did you notice any specific cylinder misfiring, or is it more general? When it happened to me, the car felt like it was running on fewer cylinders than it should.
