Aslan wiper failure
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Hyundai Aslan experienced a wiper failure, with the fuses and rain sensor functioning correctly, leading to suspicion of a faulty cable or plug in the wiring harness. Another owner with a similar issue suggested checking the wiring harness from the steering column. Upon visiting a workshop, it was confirmed that a defective cable connection was the cause, and the issue was resolved.

Wiper blades are new and moving without wiping, so it must be something electrical. What exactly did you check when you faced your wiper issue? Was it also a defective cable connection or something else?

Okay, just making sure on the blades! I'm no expert, I didn't check anything myself besides the blades. Honestly, I took it straight to my local workshop and they fixed it in like an hour. They mentioned something about testing the whole wiring harness from the steering column.

Thanks! After taking your advice, I went to the workshop today. Turns out, a cable connection WAS defective. Cost me 95€, but at least it's fixed. Appreciate the tip!

Whoa, weird! I have an Aslan too. Had something similar happen last year. No wipers at all, and it was driving me nuts. Did you check the wiper blades themselves?
