Astra Electric Audio Failure

I had a similar issue with my 2018 Renault Megane a while back. The whole sound system went dead – no radio, no Bluetooth, nothing. Did you notice any speaker crackle or distortion before it died completely? Mine had a bit of a weird crackle for a week or so before it went silent.

No crackle or anything like that, it just went silent. Did you ever figure out what was wrong with your Megane's sound system?

Yeah, it turned out the display was defective which took down the whole audio system. Cost me a fortune to fix. If there is an error stored, you should bring it to a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to the shop and you were spot on - defective display. Cost 725€ to replace, but at least it's working again now.
