Astra Electric Reduced Engine Power

I've got a 2023 Vauxhall Astra Electric with about 35,000 km on the clock. Recently, I'm getting a 'Reduced engine power' message on the dashboard. My auto scanner shows an error. Anyone else run into this? Could it be serious?

Does the check engine light come on as well? I had a similar issue with my Astra, though not the electric version. My scan tool pointed to some weird stuff. Was there any recent work done, like chip tuning?

The check engine light is on. No recent work by me, but I bought it used a few months back. Chip tuning? How did you figure that out, and is that a big deal?

The previous owner had done modifications before I bought it. The reduced power and error code were because of a dodgy remap. Have you checked for any signs of ECU tampering? If so, take it to a trusted workshop with vehicle diagnostics, they should be able to figure it out!

Thanks for the tip! The workshop confirmed faulty chip tuning from a previous owner. They flashed it back to the original settings. Cost me 180€, but it runs like new again! Appreciate the help!
