Astra rough idle and high fuel consumption

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Astra a while back. Was your fuel consumption noticeably higher? Mine was. Maybe it is a clogging. Could also cause misfires.

Fuel consumption has definitely increased. Misfires... okay, so that's a possibility too. How did you figure out it was the injection nozzle, and what did you do about it?

I didn't figure it out myself. Took it to a workshop. They ran diagnostics and said the injection valve was dirty and needed replacement. Best to get it checked properly. You'll know for sure then.

Alright, cheers for the advice. I'll book it in at a workshop. Hopefully, it's just a dirty nozzle and nothing too serious. Got a quote for around 515€, which stings, but hopefully fixes everything.
