Interesting. You mentioned a heating element, where exactly is that located? And yeah, I'm using winter washer fluid, so that shouldn't be the problem.

On my BMW, it was integrated into the washer motor itself, a real pain to get to! But since you're getting an error code and frozen nozzles even with winter fluid, it really does sound like either that element's gone bad or there's a dodgy wire somewhere. Honestly, I’d suggest getting it checked out at a workshop before winter really hits. Saved me a lot of hassle!

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop and they confirmed it was a bad connection, just like I thought. New cable and plug later, and it's working fine now. Cost me 95€, but worth it. Cheers!

I had a similar problem with my old BMW. The washer jets would just refuse to spray when it was freezing, and the car kept throwing a code related to the washer motor. Could be the heating element in your washer system. Is your washer fluid good for winter temps?
