Atos Airbag Warning Light
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Hyundai Atos owner experienced a persistent airbag warning light, indicating a generic restraint system failure. The suspected cause was a faulty cable or plug connection. A suggestion was made to check the yellow connectors under the seats, which are prone to being disturbed. Upon inspection, a loose connector under the driver's seat was found and secured, resolving the issue.

Under the seats, you say? Specifically which connectors should I be looking for? Were your symptoms exactly the same – constant airbag light?

Yeah, same light. Check the yellow connectors, those are for the airbags. Wiggle them, see if the light goes off. If not, you will have to go to the workshop.

Thanks! You were spot on! It was indeed a loose connector under the driver's seat. Wiggled it, light went off. Got it properly secured at the workshop for 95€. Appreciate the tip!

Had something similar on my Atos. Check the connections under the seats first. Those get kicked around a lot.
