Atos audio system failure
Summary of the thread
The audio system in a 2008 Hyundai Atos is not functioning, with a blank display and no sound. Possible causes include a faulty head unit, wiring issues, or a defective display unit. Checking the fuses is suggested as an initial step. If the problem persists, a visit to a workshop is recommended, as a complete replacement of the display unit may be necessary.

The volume control does nothing; it's completely unresponsive. I haven't checked the fuses yet, but I will. When you had this problem, what was the cause?

In my case, it turned out to be a defective display unit. Sadly, it meant a complete replacement. I suggest you visit a workshop. The repair ended up costing me around 725€

Thanks for the info. I appreciate you sharing your experience. It's helpful to know what I might be facing. I took it to a mechanic, and they confirmed it's the display. Guess I'll be replacing the whole unit then.

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my Atos. Does the volume control have any effect, or is it completely dead? It could be a faulty head unit or a problem with the wiring to the car speakers. Have you checked the fuses?
