Atos Windshield Washer Failure
Summary of the thread
The windshield washer failure in a 2010 Hyundai Atos was initially suspected to be due to an electrical issue, as the fluid was full and the pump was silent. Possible causes included a defective cable connection or relay. The suggested solution was to check these components, but due to the complexity, it was recommended to take the vehicle to a workshop. The issue was resolved by fixing the defective cable connection or relay.

Okay, relay and cable connection, got it. Where exactly are those located on the Atos? Is it something I can easily get to, or am I going to need some special tools? And how would I even tell if they're defective? Like, is there a way to test them?

The pump and relay location can vary, but they are typically near the washer fluid reservoir. As for testing, if you are not familiar with vehicle electrics, I would suggest taking it to a workshop. It may well be a defective cable or relay.

Thanks! I had a feeling it might be beyond my limited skills. I'll take it to the shop. They said the cable connection of the pump or relay was defective and fixed it for 165€. Appreciate the help!

It sounds like a potential electrical issue. Have you checked the cable connection to the pump or the relay? A defective connection could cause the system to fail. Think of it like a light switch not working – sometimes it's just a loose wire.
