Audi Q5 blower does not work and the air conditioning service unit keeps going out

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my 2015 Audi Q5, diesel, 217,654 km. The fan is not working properly and I suspect it's the air conditioning control unit. Unfortunately had a bad experience at the last workshop visit. Has anyone had similar problems and can recommend a reliable workshop? Many thanks in advance! Greetings,

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Audi A4, model year 2018. My air conditioning control unit was defective. This caused the fan to run irregularly and sometimes fail completely. This is a really serious problem, as it not only affects comfort, but can also affect the engine's cooling system. I went to a garage that knows a lot about Audi. They replaced the air conditioning control unit and since then everything has been running smoothly again. It was a bit time-consuming, but definitely necessary. Good luck in your search for the right workshop! Greetings, Max

Hey Max, thanks for your reply! Do you remember how much you paid to replace the air conditioning control unit? And has anything else happened to your A4 since then? Best regards,

Hey, yes, I remember the costs exactly. I paid a total of €940 for the repair of the defective air conditioning control unit. Since I've been to the mechanic, there have been no more problems - the air conditioning control unit is working perfectly and the fan is running as it should again. I hope this helps you a little and you get your problem under control quickly! Best regards, Max

Hey Max, thanks for the info! 940 € is no bargain, but if it solves the problem, it's probably necessary. I'll see if I can find a similar garage that knows Audi well. I hope my experience will be better this time than the last time I went to the garage. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Best regards,
