Auris hybrid engine stalls after fuel filter change

Hi. My 2014 Toyota Auris hybrid is playing up. After changing the fuel filter, the check engine light came on and the engine stalls at idle sometimes. I've also noticed reduced engine power, almost like a pressure drop. The car only has 20518 km on the clock. Could this be a defective fuel pressure regulator or a fuel system issue? Has anyone experienced something similar?

Indeed, it sounds like it could be related to the fuel system after the filter change. I had similar symptoms with my Auris – though a slightly older model. Have you checked for any error codes? Took your advice and went to a workshop. The fuel pressure regulator was indeed defective. Replaced it for 45€ and all issues are now resolved. Thanks for your help!
