Avalon Fuel Sensor Issue

My 2020 Toyota Avalon Hybrid has a fuel level sensor fault. The check engine light is on, and the engine stalls at idle sometimes. An error is stored in the memory. Mileage is 112150 km. Is this a common problem?

I had a similar issue with my Avalon. The fuel gauge was all over the place, and the car sometimes stalled. I'd check the fuel tank and sensor connections. Is the fuel system fuse okay?

Where is the fuse located? And did you fix yours by replacing the sensor or something else?

The fuse should be in the engine compartment fuse box, check the manual for the exact location. I tried to fix mine myself, but ended up taking it to a workshop. They diagnosed a faulty sensor.

Thanks. I checked the fuse, it was defective. Replaced it for 52€ and the problem is gone.
