Avensis fuel level sensor issue

Hi, I've got a 2011 Toyota Avensis diesel with a fuel level sensor issue. The check engine light comes on, and the engine occasionally stalls at idle. Mileage is at 93514 km. I've checked for any obvious wiring issues, but haven't found anything. Error is stored in the error memory. Any ideas?

Hey, that sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my old Renault Megane. Same symptoms: check engine light and stalling. Did you check the fuel level sensor fuse? If it has one...

Good shout, I didn't think about the fuse. Where exactly is the fuel level sensor fuse usually located? I've checked the main fuse box under the hood, but nothing obvious there.

On my Megane it was in the fuse box inside the car, near the steering wheel. But honestly, it's probably best to get it checked at a workshop if you can't find it. Could be something more complicated.

Thanks for the tip! Turns out it was just a defective fuse. Replaced it and all good now, cost me 52€ Appreciate the help!
