Thanks for the insight! I haven't done much beyond checking the obvious connections. What sort of diagnostics did you perform on your Volvo?

In my case, I utilized an OBD-II scanner to retrieve specific diagnostic trouble codes related to the suspension system. This permitted a more precise identification of the malfunctioning component. Given the potential complexity of modern vehicle suspension systems, proceeding with a professional diagnostic assessment might be prudent, considering the error codes and symptoms you described. I ended up having to go to the workshop.

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. It was indeed a defective plug connector causing the issue. Repair cost me 95€

Greetings. The symptoms do suggest a potential issue within the damping control system. I once encountered a somewhat comparable situation with my previous Volvo V60; a faulty connection in the adaptive suspension system led to similar error messages and degraded ride comfort. Have you attempted any preliminary diagnostics beyond visual inspection?
