Hi, my 2014 Fiat Avventura with a gasoline engine is giving me some grief. The defrost air distribution flap seems to be faulty. I'm getting an error stored in the memory and the heating output is way too low. I'm suspecting it's a cable or plug connection issue. Anyone else seen this?

Yep, sounds like the same problem. Honestly, I didn't try fixing it myself. I took it straight to the workshop. They sorted it out quickly. If I recall correctly, they did mention something about the air distribution and that it can affect the heater core. I wouldn't risk messing with it, to be honest.

Thanks for the advice. Booked it in at the workshop. They diagnosed it as you suspected, faulty connection to the distribution flap. Repair cost 95€. Problem solved!
