Avventura fuel flap issue

Hi, I've got a 2015 Fiat Avventura, diesel, with about 107k km on it. Recently, the fuel flap release stopped working. I get an error message, and it won't open or close. Some other car functions seem a bit off now. Could it be a defective linkage? Has anyone else had this issue?

Yeah, it did cause some weird electrical gremlins elsewhere. Honestly, I messed around with it for a bit, but in the end, I just took it to a workshop. Turned out to be a faulty actuator. Best to get it checked out properly.

Thanks for the info! I'll take it to a shop and see what they say. I was quoted around 210€ for the repair. Sounds like that's the best bet.
