Avventura rear ventilation flap problem
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Fiat Avventura is experiencing a rear ventilation flap issue, leading to climate control malfunction and ineffective AC cooling. The problem may stem from a dodgy cable or plug, as suggested by error codes indicating a defective connection in the rear ventilation flap circuit. Checking fuses and consulting a professional for diagnosis and repair are recommended steps to resolve the issue.

Thanks! I haven't checked the fuses yet. When you say 'defective connection', do you recall which specific connector or cable was the culprit? Was it obvious, or did they have to dig deep?

Unfortunately, I don't have the specifics. The paperwork just mentioned a faulty plug connection within the rear ventilation flap's circuit. Given the symptoms and the stored error, I'd advise getting it checked by a professional. My repair cost around 95€, so hopefully, yours won't be much more.

Appreciate the advice! I'll book it in for a diagnosis. Knowing it's likely a connection issue gives me peace of mind – hopefully, it's a simple fix. Thanks again!

Interesting. I have an Avventura as well. I had a similar HVAC problem. After diagnostics, the workshop found an issue with the rear ventilation flap circuit. The error codes pointed towards a defective connection. Did you check the fuses?
