Avventura refusing to start
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Fiat Avventura with a petrol engine was experiencing intermittent starting issues, cutting out while driving, and running roughly. The initial checks on fuses showed no problems. A suggestion was made to inspect the ignition coil, but the issue was ultimately traced to a faulty ignition switch. Replacing the ignition switch resolved the problem, and the vehicle now operates smoothly.

Ignition coil, eh? Whereabouts is that located, and how would I go about checking it?

It's usually near the spark plugs. Honestly, unless you're comfortable with car electrics, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. They'll have the right tools to diagnose it properly.

Cheers, took your advice and went to a local garage. Turns out it was indeed something with the ignition switch. They replaced it for 52€. Runs like a dream now!

Sounds familiar. I've got a Fiat Avventura too, and had similar issues a while back. Engine would crank but wouldn't fire up. Did you check the ignition coil?
