Barchetta Intake Air Temperature Sensor
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Fiat Barchetta experienced issues with the check engine light, reduced power, and rough engine performance. The diagnostic tool identified the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor as the problem. Replacing the IAT sensor resolved the issues, restoring the car's performance.

Yup, error's stored, and the power loss is significant. It's like driving through molasses. Was it definitely the intake air temperature sensor for you too?

Yes, those were exactly the same symptoms. Replacing the IAT sensor fixed it. But based on that and your mileage, you should visit a workshop, to be sure.

Appreciate the confirmation. I had the IAT sensor replaced, and that fixed it. Cost me 155€, including diagnosis and labor. Thanks!

I had something similar with my Barchetta. Was the error stored and did it also reduce engine power?
