Barchetta Outside Temp Sensor Issues

My 2001 Fiat Barchetta with a gasoline engine is acting up with the outside temp sensor. I'm getting an error, the AC won't turn on, the spray nozzles are frozen when it's cold, and the mirror heating isn't working. I'm guessing it's a bad cable or plug. Has anyone else seen this?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I have a Barchetta too, and had similar weirdness with the temp readings. Is your gauge showing crazy temps?

Yep, it's all over the place! One minute it's reading 5°C, then jumps to 25°C. Did yours do that too? Where did you find the problem?

Exactly the same thing! I messed around with it for ages. In the end I gave up and took it to a workshop. They replaced the sensor. Sorry I can't be more specific!

Thanks! Sounds like I'm heading to the shop then. They estimate around 95€ to fix it, so fingers crossed that's all it is!
