Barchetta Outside Temp Sensor Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Fiat Barchetta is experiencing issues with the outside temperature sensor, leading to an error that affects the AC, spray nozzles, and mirror heating. The problem might be due to a faulty cable or plug, as the temperature readings are erratic. A similar issue was resolved by replacing the sensor at a workshop.

Yep, it's all over the place! One minute it's reading 5°C, then jumps to 25°C. Did yours do that too? Where did you find the problem?

Exactly the same thing! I messed around with it for ages. In the end I gave up and took it to a workshop. They replaced the sensor. Sorry I can't be more specific!

Thanks! Sounds like I'm heading to the shop then. They estimate around 95€ to fix it, so fingers crossed that's all it is!

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I have a Barchetta too, and had similar weirdness with the temp readings. Is your gauge showing crazy temps?
