Hey, thanks for the answer! A broken alternator could really be the problem. Can you remember how much it cost you to replace it? And have you had any more problems since then or has it really been running smoothly again?

Hey, no problem! Since I've been to the mechanic, everything has been running great again. The overvoltage in the vehicle has been rectified. It was actually the battery that was faulty. The whole thing cost me €290. Fortunately, I haven't had any more problems since then and everything is running like clockwork. I can only recommend doing the same. Maybe you'll be just as happy and it's nothing worse. Good luck!

Hey, €290 is even less than I had feared. I'm really relieved that it went so smoothly for you. I'll make an appointment with my mechanic and report back on how it went. Thanks for the tip and for keeping your fingers crossed! Hopefully it really is just the alternator and nothing worse. See you guys then!

Hey, we recently had a similar problem with our Peugeot 208 from 2010. The starter was running, but the battery was flat and the lights were flickering. It really wasn't a big deal. In our case, the alternator was defective and no longer charged the battery properly. The alternator had to be replaced and then everything ran smoothly again. Check the alternator on your Expert, maybe that's where the problem is. Good luck, buddy!
