Thanks! When you say 'similar issue,' did you also have the problem where the engine wouldn't start? Did you resolve it yourself, or did you have to take it to a mechanic? Any idea what the actual fault was?

My Berlingo didn't get to the point where it wouldn't start, thankfully. I took it to a workshop before it got that bad! They confirmed it was something to do with the AdBlue system, but honestly, the details went over my head a bit. I would strongly suggest you take yours in, especially if it's preventing the engine from starting. It sounds like a potentially expensive problem, but getting it checked out professionally is probably the best course of action at this stage.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. It sounds like I'm probably facing something similar. I'll definitely take it to a workshop. I got a quote for 250€ so I hope that will fix it. Your input has been really helpful.

Oh wow, that sounds familiar! I have a Berlingo too. I had a similar issue with the AdBlue system. The dashboard alert was driving me crazy. I'm not super tech-savvy, but I remember reading something about the tank capacity and how sensitive the system can be. Could there be an issue with the sensor in the tank? I'm just throwing ideas out there, though.
