Berlingo key battery issue

Hi, I have a 2019 Citroen Berlingo diesel with 241327 km. I'm getting a 'key battery low' warning. Keyless access no longer works, there's an error, and unlocking/locking is unreliable. Is the key battery dead? Has anyone else had this?

Yep, sounds like what happened with my Berlingo. The key fob acted up, then the 'low battery' warning appeared. It's probably just the battery; they don't last forever. Is it completely dead or just intermittent?

Intermittent at first, now pretty much completely dead. Did you replace the battery yourself, or did you take it somewhere? Did it solve all the issues?

I replaced the battery myself the first time, but it was a pain to open the key fob without damaging it. Then I went to the workshop. It fixed everything. If it's totally dead now and the keyless entry is gone, it's almost certainly just the battery. Consider going to the shop, unless you are good with electronics.

Thanks! I took it to a local shop. 37€ later with a fresh battery and the error cleared, everything's back to normal. Appreciate the advice!
