Berlingo running rich faulty injector

Alright, Citroen Berlingo gurus, I need your wisdom! My 2019 Berlingo (gasoline engine) is playing up something fierce. It's got about 42k km on the clock, and lately, it feels like it's running way too rich. I'm getting reduced power, the check engine light is mocking me, the engine's running rough as a badger, my fuel consumption's gone through the roof, and it's jerking like crazy when I accelerate. I'm thinking it could be a dodgy injector? Anyone else had similar woes?

Sounds rough! I had almost the exact same symptoms with my old Renault Megane. Check engine light, rough running, the whole shebang. Turned out to be a faulty injector. Has the light been on for long?

Yeah, the light's been on for a few days now. Did your Renault give you any other clues besides the check engine light and rough running? Like, did you notice any specific smell or anything else out of the ordinary?

Just the rough running, loss of power and the check engine light. Honestly, I’d get it checked by a workshop sooner rather than later. Could cause damage to the catalytic converter if it runs rich for too long.

Cheers for the advice! Took it to the shop, and you nailed it – faulty injector. Cost me 515€ to get it sorted, but at least she's running smooth again!
