Bipper brake booster pressure sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Peugeot Bipper diesel is experiencing poor brake performance and an error message related to the brake booster pressure sensor. The issue may stem from a faulty pressure sensor or possibly a bad vacuum line, though the sensor is more likely. The recommended solution is to have a workshop replace the sensor and check the entire brake system, as this approach resolved a similar issue for another Bipper owner.

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't noticed any visible leaks around the brake lines, but I'll double-check. How did you end up fixing yours? Was it just the sensor, or something else involved?

Yeah, in my case all pointed towards the brake booster pressure sensor. Honestly, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop, saves a ton of headache trying to fix hydraulic brakes yourself. They replaced the sensor, did a check of the whole system and it's been perfect since. Diagnostic tools help a lot in the troubleshooting process.

Okay, awesome. That confirms my suspicions! I'll book it in with a workshop to get the sensor replaced. I saw replacement parts go for around 90€ so it is not even that expensive. Really appreciate the help!

Hey, I have a Bipper too, and that sounds awfully familiar. I was getting similar error messages and the brakes felt really weak. Check the brake booster; a faulty pressure sensor will definitely mess things up. Could also be a bad vacuum line but the pressure sensor is more likely. I'm curious, have you checked for any leaks in the brake lines?
