Bipper Engine Stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Peugeot Bipper diesel is experiencing engine stalling at idle and a persistent check engine light. The suspected cause is a malfunctioning tank ventilation valve, possibly due to clogged hoses. A similar issue was resolved by replacing the purge valve and clearing clogged hoses, which eliminated the problem. The suggested solution is to inspect and possibly replace the purge valve and hoses, with a repair cost estimate of 175€.

Thanks for the tip. Where is the pressure sensor located? And did you have any luck fixing it yourself, or did you end up taking it to a shop?

I didn't fix it myself, I'm not that skilled. The garage said it was the purge valve and some clogged hoses. They replaced everything, and the problem disappeared.

Thanks, that's helpful. I'll check the purge valve and hoses more closely. I'll probably take it to a workshop too, if I can't sort it. They quoted me 175€ for the repair including parts and labor. It's sorted now.

I had a similar issue with my Bipper. The engine light and stalling were driving me nuts. Have you checked the pressure sensor?
