Bipper immobilizer issue

I'm having an immobilizer problem with my 2015 Peugeot Bipper diesel with only 22963 km. The engine refuses to start, or starts briefly then stops. The error memory suggests an anti-theft system malfunction. I suspect incorrect key programming. Has anyone else had this?

Sounds rough! I had almost the exact same thing happen with my Bipper. Thought I was going nuts! Does it feel like the car's just saying "nah, not today"?

Yes, exactly! Did the error message also implicate the immobilizer system? What did you do to fix it? Was it just reprogramming the key, or something more?

Spot on, the immobilizer was the culprit! Honestly, save yourself the headache and just take it to a workshop. They'll sort it way faster than you or I could. Trust me.
