Hey, thanks for the answer! Climate control unit, huh? That sounds like a lot of work and expense. Do you remember how expensive the whole thing was for you? And has anything else been acting up since the repair? I hope it's not such a never-ending story... Greetings back!

Hey, no problem, always happy to help! Yes, the climate control unit wasn't exactly a bargain. It cost me €880. But since then it's been running like clockwork again. The defroster flap problem you mentioned has also been history since then. Apparently it was somehow connected to the control unit. So, I hope it stays that way now and I don't have another nasty surprise at some point. But it looks good so far. Good luck with your Citroen, it'll be fine! Best regards!

Wow, €880, that really is a hefty sum. But the main thing is that you've fixed the problem and are now happy. Your experience seems really useful to me. Of course, I also hope that everything runs smoothly after the repair. This defroster flap problem is really annoying, especially now in winter. Thanks for your advice and support! I'll keep you posted on how things are going with my Berlingo. See you soon and thanks again! Best regards!

Hi mate, I had the same problem with my 2003 Citroen Xsara Picasso, it was the air conditioning control unit that was faulty. To be honest, it was a pretty serious matter. Last week I had to take the car to a garage. The mechanics had to replace the entire A/C control unit because it wasn't responding, just as you described. They said that this case is rather unusual, but the climate control unit is definitely a critical point. It affects the comfort in the interior and this is particularly important on longer journeys. So, to keep it short: It was the air conditioning control unit. Replacing it was the only solution. Make sure you go to a reliable workshop. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you can fix it soon. Best regards!
