BMAX DPF Pressure Too Low

I've got a 2017 Ford BMAX diesel with 225290 km. A warning light came on, engine power is reduced, and there's intermittent smoke when I accelerate, plus a strange smell from the exhaust. DPF exhaust pressure seems low. Could a defective exhaust back pressure sensor cause this, or should I look at other things?

Yep, all the same symptoms. Loss of power, smoke, the works. I didn't investigate myself, just took it to a workshop. It was the back pressure sensor, like we suspected. For the cost of the part and labor, it was worth avoiding the headache of doing it myself.
