BMAX Sun Blind Failure

My 2017 Ford BMAX with a gasoline engine is showing a peculiar fault. The sun blind is no longer retracting or extending properly, often becoming stuck. I've also observed that an error code is logged in the error memory. Mileage is 72974 km. Suspect the motor.
