Thanks for sharing that! I have the gasoline variant and dealing with similar troubles at 83287 KM. Haven't checked for error codes yet, but this really sounds like what I'm experiencing. Good to know it might just be a wiring issue rather than the entire injection system. The repair cost seems reasonable too. I'll get it checked out and have them look specifically at the injector wiring. My latest service was actually just two months ago, but they didn't spot anything unusual then.

Hey again! Just saw your reply about your BMW 2 Series. You know, when you mentioned the mileage and that recent service, it reminded me of my situation. My issues started showing up right after a routine service too, around the 80K mark. Looking back, I think the technicians might have accidentally disturbed the wiring while doing other maintenance work. These things happen, even with good mechanics. In my case, the loose connection wasn't obvious during regular checks, but it was definitely causing all those symptoms. Since you're experiencing this right after service, you might want to bring it back to the same workshop. They might even handle it under service warranty since it's so recent. When I went back, I specifically asked them to check the fuel system connections with a diagnostic tool, that's what revealed the issue with mine. Just keep in mind that driving with these symptoms isn't great for the engine. I learned that the hard way by waiting too long. Better to get it sorted soon. Let me know what they find, curious to see if it's the same problem I had!

Thanks so much for all that detailed info! After reading about your experience, I just called my service center and booked an appointment for tomorrow morning. You're absolutely right about not waiting, I've already driven around with these issues for a week and don't want to risk any engine damage. I'll definitely ask them to check the wiring connections first, especially since the problems started showing up after that recent service. Really hoping it's just a loose connection like in your case and not something more serious. The timing of it all does make sense now, probably something got disturbed during the routine maintenance. I'll update you once I get the diagnosis. The fact that your repair was relatively simple and affordable gives me hope! Thanks again for sharing your experience, it's been super helpful in understanding what might be going on with my car.

Hey there! I have some experience working on BMWs, and I had a very similar issue with my 2021 BMW 3 Series last year. The symptoms you're describing sound exactly like what I went through, the jerking, high fuel consumption, and power loss were all there. Took it to my regular workshop, and it turned out to be a faulty connection in the fuel injector wiring. One of the cables had come loose, causing all those issues. The fix wasn't too complicated, they had to reconnect and secure the wiring properly. Cost me about 95 Euro, and the car's been running smoothly since then. Could you tell me if you're getting any error codes? Also, which engine variant do you have in your 2 Series? This would help me share more specific details about my experience and whether it might be the same issue.
