Hey, thanks for sharing that info! I'm relieved to hear someone else went through something similar. Curious though, do you remember roughly how much you ended up paying for the whole fix? Also, has everything been running smoothly since the repair, or have you noticed any other quirks pop up? Really appreciate your help with this, I've been scratching my head over these error messages for a while now!

Hey again! Good news, after getting my car looked at, it's running like a dream! The system readiness check issue is completely sorted now. The best part? It didn't cost me anything because they just needed to clear some codes and reset the system during the OBD2 diagnostic scan. Since the fix, everything's been working perfectly, no more error messages popping up on the display, and the hybrid system's working just as it should. It's such a relief when these things turn out to be simpler than expected. My car's been running great for the past few weeks, smooth and efficient, just like it should be. I'm really glad I could help out with your situation. Sometimes these BMW hybrids can throw us for a loop with their error messages, but it's not always as serious as it seems. Just make sure you get it checked out by someone who knows their way around hybrid systems, it makes all the difference! Let me know if you need any other info or if anything else comes up!

Thanks so much for the update! You wouldn't believe it, but I actually took my car in yesterday after reading your first message. Turns out my situation was a bit different, needed a new battery sensor and some reprogramming work. Set me back about €800, but honestly, it was worth every penny. The mechanic I found was really knowledgeable about hybrids, which was such a relief after my last experience. They walked me through everything they were doing and even showed me the faulty parts. The car's running perfectly now, no more error messages, and the system readiness check is completing like it should. Funny how we stress about these things, and sometimes they turn out to be pretty straightforward fixes. Really appreciate you sharing your experience, it gave me the push I needed to get it sorted. Think I've finally found a mechanic I can trust too, which is a huge bonus! Thanks again for all your help!

Hey there! I actually had similar issues with my 2013 BMW 5 Series Hybrid last month. The readiness monitors weren't completing, and I was getting sporadic error messages too. After diagnostics, it turned out my battery monitoring sensor was failing, which was affecting the hybrid system communication. Also found a faulty O2 sensor that was causing some of those error codes. Got it fixed at the shop, needed the battery sensor replaced and they had to reprogram the hybrid control module. It was a proper fix and definitely not something you'd want to leave unchecked, as it could affect your hybrid system's performance and potentially lead to bigger issues. Since you mentioned your mileage, worth noting mine was around 160,000 km when this happened. These issues seem pretty common in our generation of BMW hybrids at this kind of mileage. My advice would be to get it checked soon, these symptoms usually don't resolve themselves. Hope this helps!
