Thanks for sharing that experience! The fault sounds exactly like what I'm dealing with. I think I'll take your advice and go to a certified BMW dealer. Would you mind sharing how much the repair set you back? Also curious if you've noticed any other quirks since the fix, sometimes these electrical gremlins can be sneaky and come back in different ways.

Hey there! Just wanted to follow up on your questions. Actually, my case turned out to be much simpler than initially thought. When I took it to the BMW dealer, they confirmed it was just the Transport Mode being active, nothing as complex as the control module I originally suspected. The great news is they fixed it right away and didn't charge me anything since my iX3 was still under warranty. Since having it fixed, my car's been running perfectly, no sneaky electrical issues or any other quirks popping up. All systems are working exactly as they should. The nav system is back to normal, and those annoying warning lights are gone for good. Honestly, it's such a relief when these things turn out to be simpler than expected! Definitely stick with your plan to visit the BMW dealer. They really know their stuff with these high-tech vehicles, and since your iX2 is so new, you shouldn't have to pay anything either. Better to get it sorted now than wait and worry about it, right?

Just got back from the BMW dealer and wanted to update everyone. You won't believe how this turned out! Similar to, it was actually a pretty straightforward fix. I was stressing over nothing, turned out some settings got messed up during my last service. The tech plugged in their diagnostic tool, reset a few systems, and boom, everything's back to normal. The best part? It was covered under warranty, just like mentioned. The whole thing took less than two hours. I feel a bit silly now for putting it off because of my previous bad experience with that other mechanic. The dealer's team was super professional and explained everything clearly. Should've gone there straight away instead of worrying about it for weeks. Really appreciate everyone's advice here, you helped me avoid an unnecessary headache. Now I can finally enjoy my iX2 properly again!

I had a similar issue with my 2021 BMW iX3 last month. The electrical system went haywire, nav system died, and multiple warning lights popped up on the dash. Took it to a certified BMW service center, and it turned out to be a faulty high-voltage control module that was affecting multiple systems. They had to replace the module and recalibrate the entire electrical system. It was a serious issue that required specialized diagnostic equipment. The repair took about three days because they had to order the specific part. If you suspect Transport Mode is active, that's definitely something that needs professional attention. These new electric BMWs have complex systems that are all interconnected. I'd recommend finding a different certified BMW dealer rather than a general mechanic. They'll have the proper diagnostic tools and training for these specific issues. Side note, after the repair, everything has been working perfectly, and I haven't had any electrical issues since.
