Thanks for sharing your experience! My iX3 just hit 149222 KM and had its latest service about 6 weeks ago. Based on what you're describing, it does sound pretty similar to my situation. I'm getting error code E3452 mainly, along with a couple others that keep coming and going. Pretty frustrating since it's still such a new car. Did your relay issue show up suddenly, or did it gradually get worse? I'm wondering if I should try the same fix or if I need to look into something else.

Hey again! Thanks for the additional info about your iX3. My i4's issue actually came up quite suddenly, one morning everything was fine, and by the evening, I had all those warnings popping up. The error code you mentioned (E3452) is exactly the same one I got! Since your symptoms are matching mine perfectly, I'm even more convinced it's the relay. In my case, the part was showing signs of corrosion when they replaced it. The funny thing is, my car had around 145000 KM when it happened, pretty close to your mileage. Just to be safe though, I'd recommend getting it checked properly. While the relay fixed my issues completely, these modern EVs can be tricky with their electronics. My mechanic actually tested the whole ASC system before replacing the relay, just to be thorough. By the way, did you notice any small vibrations or warning lights flickering before the full problem showed up? I had that for maybe a day or two but ignored it (probably shouldn't have!). Let me know what you end up doing, I'm curious if it turns out to be the same issue!

Thanks so much for all the detailed info! That's super helpful, especially knowing you had the same error code. Come to think of it, I did notice some warning lights flickering last week, but like you, I brushed it off. Definitely won't make that mistake again! I've just booked my car in for tomorrow morning at my regular shop. I'll make sure to mention the relay issue to them and ask them to check the whole ASC system like your mechanic did. It's actually really reassuring to know this is probably fixable with a relatively simple part replacement. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, it's definitely made me feel less worried about the whole situation. I'll probably update this thread once I get it fixed, just in case anyone else runs into the same problem with their iX3. Thanks again for your help!

Hey there! I've got some experience with EVs, had a similar thing happen on my 2021 BMW i4 (I also test drove the iX back then). I had almost identical symptoms, ASC and ABS warnings, jerky acceleration, the whole deal. Turned out to be a faulty ASC relay. Got it fixed at my regular shop for about 90 Euro, and everything's been perfect since then. Quick question though, are you getting any specific error codes? That would help confirm if it's the same issue I had. Also, how many miles/kilometers are on your iX3? I'm no expert mechanic, but I've dealt with a few EV issues. Happy to share more details if this sounds similar to what you're experiencing.
