Just wanted to follow up, finally got the headlight issue sorted! Took it to a BMW specialist shop that another recommended. The mechanic was super thorough and found exactly what we suspected, faulty servomotor. Got it replaced and realigned same day. Bill came to around 950 €, bit better than I expected after hearing your cost. The best part? No more warning lights, and my low beams are perfectly aligned now. What a relief! Night driving feels so much better. The mechanic actually showed me the old servomotor, thing was completely shot. Glad I didn't wait any longer to get it fixed.
