BMW Parking Sensor Nightmare: Constant Beeping Problem

Hey there! I had similar problems with my 2015 BMW 3 Series diesel. I've got some experience working on cars, though I usually leave the complex stuff to professionals. Funny enough, I dealt with this exact issue last month. The constant beeping and parking sensor malfunction turned out to be a loose connection in the wiring harness. Took it to my regular workshop, and they found that one of the sensor plugs had corroded and wasn't making proper contact. They cleaned and reseated all connections, plus replaced one damaged cable. One thing I forgot to mention in my first reply, before getting it fixed, I tried cleaning the sensors on the outside with a soft cloth, thinking maybe dirt was causing it, but that didn't help at all. The continuous beeping was driving me nuts until I got it sorted! If your mechanic finds the same problem with the wiring harness, it should be a pretty straightforward fix. Just make sure they check all the connections thoroughly, mine actually had corrosion in two different spots, but they only noticed the second one during a more detailed inspection. They found corrosion in the harness connections, just like in your case. They cleaned everything up, replaced a couple of damaged wires, and now the parking system works perfectly again.
