BMW X6 Engine Mount Mystery: Vibration & Rough Idle

Just got back from the mechanic and wanted to update everyone. Took your advice and had them check both the engine mounts and electrical system. Turns out my problem was a bit different, had a failing fuel injector that was causing all the vibration and rough idling. Got it replaced, plus they cleaned the entire fuel injection system while they were at it. The whole thing cost me around €400, which wasn't too bad considering all the work they did. Been driving for a few days now and what a difference! No more vibration, engine's running super smooth, and that annoying error code is gone. Really glad I didn't just assume it was the engine mount and got a proper diagnosis instead. Thanks again for all the suggestions. Sometimes these luxury cars can be tricky to diagnose, but finding a good mechanic who knows what they're doing makes all the difference. Definitely feeling more confident about my X6 now!

Hey, thanks for sharing your experience! That's really helpful as I'm dealing with similar issues. Just curious, do you remember roughly how much you ended up paying for the ignition coil and wiring repair? Also, has everything been running smoothly since then, or have you noticed any other issues pop up? Would love to know if it was a permanent fix for you.
