Boxer AdBlue Tank Empty Error

I've got a 2020 Peugeot Boxer diesel with about 88000 km on the clock. I'm getting an 'AdBlue tank empty' error message on the speedometer, and it's stored in the error memory. Now the engine won't even start. Could this be a defective AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit? Has anyone else experienced this? I know AdBlue is used in the exhaust system to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions, and that the tank capacity is quite large. Is there anything I can check myself before taking it in?

I had something similar with my Boxer. The AdBlue system can be a real pain. Is the service light also on? It does sound like a problem with the AdBlue injection system. When the system detects a fault or the tank is supposedly empty, it can prevent the engine from starting.

Yep, service light was on for me too. To be honest, I didn't mess around with it myself. Took it straight to a workshop. They confirmed it was the AdBlue delivery system and sorted it out. Could be worth checking the pump, but I wouldn't risk messing with the injection system yourself. It's pretty sensitive stuff.

Thanks for the advice. I suspected it might be something best left to the professionals. I'll book it in for a checkup and mention the AdBlue delivery system. The repair cost around 250€ at a workshop. Hopefully it will fix the problem.
