Boxer Oil Temperature Sensor Issue

My 2014 Peugeot Boxer diesel is showing an engine oil temperature sensor warning light and storing an error. The oil pressure warning lamp also comes on intermittently. Diagnostics suggest a bad cable or plug. Anyone seen this before?

I had a similar issue with my Boxer. Sounds very familiar. The oil pressure warning came on intermittently, with a warning light. Do you have sensor readings, or are you just going by the warning lights?

I'm relying on diagnostic trouble codes and the warning light. I haven't measured the sensor's output directly. Do you suggest a specific test or focus point based on your experience?

I'd recommend a workshop. Even if it's 'just' the cable, the error can be tricky, especially with the oil pressure light. In my case, it was the sensor.

I had a technician inspect it, as you suggested. It was a faulty engine oil temperature sensor due to a defective connection. The repair was 95€.
