Boxer passenger seat electrical fault

I had something similar in my Boxer. Driver's seat, weird electrical gremlins. Check the seat switch and wiring under the seat for loose connections or shorts. Clean battery terminals. Any recent battery drain or has it been sitting unused?

Thanks. When yours had the issue, did the error code point to anything specific? Trying to narrow down if it's the seat motor or a simple electrical issue.

My error was vague. I messed about with it, then took it to a workshop. They said it was more hassle than it was worth to diagnose myself. Should have taken it straight there.

Diagnosis was a faulty battery causing low voltage to the seat control module, like I suspected. Repair cost was 290€. New battery fitted, error cleared, all working again.
