Boxer Wiper Failure

I've got a 2022 Peugeot Boxer, electric engine, with about 32,000 km on it, and the windshield wipers have decided to quit. Seriously, nothing. There's an error message stored. Could it be the wiper motor? I've checked the fuse, seems fine... What else could it be? Is the steering column a thing to check? Even the rain sensor seems off. I'm thinking it might be the wiper switch itself. Any ideas?

Sounds frustrating! Had a similar wiper issue with my old Renault Clio a few years back. Wipers completely dead, error code and all. Did you check the cable and plug connections to the wiper motor and switch?

I hadn't thought about the cable or plug connection specifically. What kind of connection problems did you have with your Clio? Was it visibly corroded or just loose?

Honestly, I didn't dig too deep myself. Just wasn't comfortable messing with it. My mechanic found a dodgy plug connection at the wiper motor. Might be worth getting yours checked – could save you a headache. Doesn't seem too complicated!

Thanks, that's what it was in the end! Took it to the workshop, and yup, defective cable or plug connection like you suggested! Repair cost was 95€. Appreciate the advice!
