Brio Damping Adjustment Fault

I own a 2011 Honda Brio with a gasoline engine and I've encountered a damping adjustment fault. The error memory has stored an error, and there's a warning light on the speedometer. The ride is notably bumpier. Could a defective cable or plug connection be the problem?

Sounds familiar. I've had similar ride comfort issues with my Brio. Warning light and bumpy ride, the whole shebang. Is the ride unbearable, or just noticeably worse?

It's noticeably worse, especially on uneven roads. Did you also have an error code related to the damping adjustment? And do you remember what fixed it?

Yep, damping adjustment error was the culprit. Honestly, messing with the vehicle suspension can be tricky, especially with modern systems. Best to get it checked out by a workshop.

Understood. I took it to the workshop, and you were right: it was a defective plug connection. Cost me 95€. The ride is smooth again!
