Brio Damping Adjustment Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Honda Brio owner experienced a damping adjustment fault, indicated by a warning light and a bumpier ride. The issue was suspected to be caused by a defective cable or plug connection. After taking the car to a workshop, it was confirmed that a defective plug connection was the problem, and fixing it resolved the issue, restoring a smooth ride.

It's noticeably worse, especially on uneven roads. Did you also have an error code related to the damping adjustment? And do you remember what fixed it?

Yep, damping adjustment error was the culprit. Honestly, messing with the vehicle suspension can be tricky, especially with modern systems. Best to get it checked out by a workshop.

Understood. I took it to the workshop, and you were right: it was a defective plug connection. Cost me 95€. The ride is smooth again!

Sounds familiar. I've had similar ride comfort issues with my Brio. Warning light and bumpy ride, the whole shebang. Is the ride unbearable, or just noticeably worse?
