Could you tell me more about what you experienced? Were there any error codes with the check engine light that might relate to the throttle valve, specifically throttle sensor codes?

The check engine light was on, and the car felt sluggish. I didn't check error codes. The shop said it was the throttle and suggested replacement. Get it checked by a professional. They replaced some electronics, I think.

Thanks, a technician confirmed the throttle valve issue. The repair, including parts and labor, is estimated at 265€.

I also own a Honda Brio and had something similar happen. Does the check engine light come on sometimes, like when you accelerate? Check the throttle body for obstructions or damage. I'm no expert, but that's what I'd do. Did you check the throttle sensor?
