C1 climate control panel fault

Hi, I have a 2011 Citroen C1 with a gasoline engine. The climate control panel isn't working. I get an error code, the heat output is weak, and the AC won't turn on. I've read it's likely a bad electrical connector. Anyone seen this before?

Hey, sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my C1. Is the display completely dead, or just acting weird? A bad electrical connector, especially on the HVAC system (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), could definitely cause those symptoms.

The display lights up, but the buttons don't seem to do anything. By any chance do you remember where the bad connector was located?

Mine was doing the same thing! I couldn't find the connector myself. In the end, I took it to a workshop. They found a loose connection and fixed it, and it didn't cost too much. I'd recommend getting it checked out. It is more than likely an electrical fault.

Thanks for confirming, I'll take it to a workshop and get the electrical connectors checked out. They quoted 95€, and the invoice stated 'Cable or plug connection of the component defective'.
