Relay and fuse are okay. How did you figure out it was the fan clutch on your Megane? Was it making any weird noises?

No weird noises, just the temperature gauge climbing too high and the fan not spinning. A mechanic traced it to a faulty connection in the fan wiring harness. Get yours checked professionally before serious engine damage occurs.

I got it booked in. It was a defective cable/plug connection like you said! Cost 95€ to fix. Thanks for the advice!

Overheating and fan issues sound familiar. My old Renault Megane, a diesel, had a similar problem. Is the fan clutch engaging at all, or is it totally dead? Could also be a relay or fuse; check those before tearing anything apart.
